I fashioned Papillon V from bookmatched endgrain spalted beech, trying to show the actual shape of a butterfly I had a photograph of. Excuse me – of which I had a photograph. Gotta get the grammar right, doesn’t I? She’s pretty enough to just put on a shelf or table so she can be admired.
