Description
I bet you can guess how I came up with the name of this one. When I cleaned out my dad’s pole barn after he died, I found this in there and knew I could do something with it someday. It’s a genuine manhole cover, made in Grand Rapids, or maybe just made for a Grand Rapids company. Either way, it’s heavy. I cleaned and lacquered it, and set it into a framework of cherry and maple. It’s not glued in, so, if it helps, you can take the iron out, move the table, and put the iron back in with ease.
