Description
Okasy is a unique piece. Of all of my creations, it is the only one at this point that is not made of wood that I harvested. I was at a local sawmill, saw a 10′ long offcut from a red oak log, and was intrigued by it. The sawyer told me to take it, it was only going to be firewood anyway. So, I stood it on end in my barn for probably 10 years before I decided to cut it up and make this. It almost looks like it should fall over, and, if you put enough weight on the extended top edge, it will. But I’m sure you won’t do that.
